About us
WACO Aerobotics #5140 is a First Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team out of WACO Learning Center and Air Museum in Troy, OH.
5140 is comprised of teens 12-18 years old with a desire to learn engineering and robotics principles while having fun.

Drive captain
The veteran of the team. He’s been applying his engineering skills to build robots for over four years.
Gavin
Driver/builder
Starting out as a programmer, Gavin has been giving robots the code they need to come to life. Now he operates the controls, running our robot to victory.
Jordan
Driver/builder
The man with a wrench. Jordan drives the robot and makes sure that it stays in one piece.
Eric
builder
Eric is the mechanical guy. He helps design and build our robots, making sure that they come out on top.
Michael
Programmer
As the lead programmer, Michael ensures that the robot has a brain to rival all of the competition.
Nick

The mechanic. Nick helps design and build the robot. He also organizes our workshop, ensuring that everything is within reach.
Kyle

Kyle is our new recruit. He helps build the robot, but also has the crucial role of learning, soon building better than the rest of us.
