A new sponsorship request was submitted to Radiance Technologies in Beavercreek, OH. The information submitted included:
WACO Aerobotics Team 5140 comprises 8 – 10 high school students and a volunteer coaching
staff, making their home at WACO Air Museum & Learning Center. Each student commits to their
team for a season and a challenge set forth by F.I.R.S.T. Technical Challenge (FTC), while WACO
provides oversight, administrative assistance, and meeting space throughout the year.
May-September –> Registration and Pre-Season
September –> Kickoff (Game Challenge revealed)
September-January –> Build and Practice Season
November-March –> Qualifying Season
December-March –> State/Regional Championships
April –> World Championship Events
This program is invaluable as it prepares teens for the workforce and the growing
field of robotics. Expenses include:

- [ ] Robot Kit of Parts (KoP) (required for the first season, re-usable for
following seasons) - [ ] Additional parts and raw materials as needed to meet the team’s design
- [ ] Competition event registrations
- [ ] Transportation and meals during competitions

- [ ] Office supplies
- [ ] Presentation materials
- [ ] Access to computer(s) for programming
- [ ] Miscellaneous expenses
As a 501c3, WACO seeks additional sponsorships for the team to cover annual and ongoing
expenses.
Bronze Sponsorship $500 This sponsorship provides for the annual registration fee and team t-shirts, with sponsor logos.
Silver Sponsorship $1000 This sponsorship covers the entry cost of three qualifying tournaments.
Gold Sponsorship $2500 Robotic parts, hardware, controllers, and communication devices are essentials for the yearly robot design and build.
Platinum Sponsorship $4000 This sponsorship provides for a registration fee for the team that advances to the state level.
