Time: 6:00-9:00 pm
Attendance: Preston, Gavin, Nick, Eric, Grayson, Adhira.
Coaches: Mr. Grath, Mr. Bodey
During this Practice a shipment came in. We are now in possession of Mini Odometry Sensors. Thanks to “Go Bilda” we have a much more efficient and pro active way for out robot to know where is is on the field all by its self. Mixing this technology with 3d printed materials today we began assembling a custom chasy for the FTC 2026 season, Decode.

Gavin: Filed off the impurities on 3d printed panels for a press fit for the Drive Motors to fit tightly. Then bolted the 3 panels and 2 motors with the bevel gears all together.

Nick: Continuing research on trochoidal Gears, their equation, and how we can draft some. Hoping for a minimal backlash gear box for a robotic arm.
Grayson: Bolted the Odometry wheels onto the 3d printed Frame for the 2026 FTC Robot.
Eric: Stuck the Logo stickers onto the T-shirt Cannon. Cannon Is complete!!! Ready for a final test on field. He also melted heat inserts into 3d printed panels for the FTC 2026 Robot.

Adhira: Helped clean up the 3d printed materials making the bearings fit smoothly into their place.

Preston: Oversaw and assisted in the joining of the 3D printed robot base and motors

Looking into the Future:
Kick off is in two weeks. At the same time we will be losing this room, so there will be a focus on software and CAD, as well as looking into road runner. Main focus until then will be finishing the custom base.
T-shirt Robot: We have been approved to use the bot during any home games. May be a problem with the wheels leaving marks on the treads. Where/when are we going to be available. We still need to reach out to football cheer leaders because they know the game day schedule best.
