Preston coordinated with the director of Miami East Marching Band in using the T-shirt robot for their performance at the Graham Band Festival. Instead of T-shirts we shot streamers and glitter. In order to do this a modification was made to the robot. The regular 2-inch barrels didn’t work quite well when firing streamers. So, we constructed 3/4-inch barrels to swape out. These worked terrific, shooting halfway up the stands, and receiving a huge reaction from the crowd.
