Overview: Today was a very productive practice with the majority of our members here. Today’s agenda consisted of: the EGG team continuing the modeling for the robot, the mechanics organizing the cart from the summer as well as assembling the summer base, and programmers had little to do today. We also have brought 2 new members!
Eric: Finished modeling the ball launcher and increased his knowledge in programming.
Greyson: Helped organize the cart, taking apart old protypes.
Preston: Worked on EGG team of shrinking the robot and finding an improved way of attaching the control hubs knowing what we are now doing this year.
Gavin: 3D modeled the sweeper and the ramp that will be attached to the front of the robot to pick up the balls.
Nick: Tried diagnosing the motor failure on the T-Shirt robot and helped put together the summer base with Jordan.
Adhira: Helped organize the cart, sorting nuts and bolts.
Maddix “now called Maddison”: Helped as well to organize the cart, he asked many questions.
Jordan: Helped put together
Pelham and Kemper: Being there first practice at WACO, they started to put together a catapult to launch the balls.
Future plans: We will continue to improve the robot and putting together design and prototypes. Next Saturday we will be in the front building. In a few weeks we will finally be able to set up the feild.
