Practice 10/6/2025

Attendance: Gavin, Preston, Jordan, Maddox, Grayson, Mr. Barth

Today on this fine Monday afternoon we continued working in our two teams. Egg Team and The Builder’s. Egg team or the 3d Modeling team worked to create how the robot will start to look like. Working on specification for sweeper to pick up balls and sorting system to organize balls, and the launching system. This includes using Onshape a 3d modeling software. The builder team assembled part of the new robot chasy. Today this includes 1 side of the drive train: wheels 2 motors, belts, and all the little intricate parts.

Gavin: 3d modeled the sweeper for the front of the robot

Preston: 3d modeled the sorting hopper in the middle of the robot and 3d printed parts for the drive system.

Jordan: Built the first half of the drive train. Assembling the motor and bevel gear and belt system.

Maddix: Helped find parts for the drive train.

Grayson: Helped find parts assisting Jorden making the building system move smoothly.

To Do: Builder assemble the finished part of the drive train and add in spacers. Egg team continue modeling.
