#5140 pushed hard for a quick turnaround into the Miami University Qualification match on Jan. 24, 2025. Some coaches and players could not attend but the remainder of the team pressed on. On Thursday a small group presented the portfolio minor modifications to the autonomous were made on Friday.
The qualification matches went well, scoring an average of 70 points per match. The robot performed better than the previous week due to the time and energy put into drive practice throughout the week.
We placed 12th out of 26 teams, just short of being an alliance captain. We were selected by Heisenbot Uncertainty for alliance. We lost both Final matches, eliminated in round three but scored 50 points in the final match.
After finals were completed, WACO Aerobotics was selected for the FTC Inspire award, earning us enough points to qualify us for STATE!!
