Brainstormg: We brainstormed that we can use the base built over the summer, then got into details about placement of all the components: Launcher, Storage, sweeper, and endgame plan.
CAD Team “EGG”: The design team, EGG, started the first prototype on Onshape. The base has been kept from other the summer we will make tiny modification along the way to fit this years challenge. Individuals CAD modelers focused on one component of the robot.
Mechanic Team: Mechanic team swapped the new wheels to the orange gear boxes. And started a rough form of the base. This year we are hopeful for a “Leap-Frog” format.
Future Goals: Get the new base, summer base, together so we can immediately start teaching our new programmers with road runner and the fundamentals of java. The EGG team will make there own models for the sweeper, barrel, and launcher.
T-Shirt cannon outreach: This Friday, Nick and Greyson, will be taking the T-Shirt cannon to Miami East High School Football game to shoot lots of T-Shirts.
